Yesterday my school celebrated Easter Day in advance. Many parents attended the celebration as there were singing performances by the children. Daddy, Mummy and Ah Jia were there to watch the performance.
My class (Bluebell) sang the song "Deep and Wide"... lyrics as follow:
Deep and Wide, deep and wide
There's a fountain flowing deep and wide (repeat)
As high as the highest heavens
As deep as the deep blue sea
As wide as the widest ocean
Is my Saviour's love for me (repeat)
Well, besides the celebration, there was also a briefing on the next year class registration and curriculum.
The normal curriculum is still 3hrs. In addition, there is a 3hrs Enrichment program which parents can sign up for their children. Their Enrichment Program includes Computer-Aided Education, Chinese Immersion Program, Phonics Class, Science Class, Bells Class, Art Class, Cookery Class and Craft Lessons (as stated in their website). Thus child will be in school for 6hrs Mon-Fri.
However for the enrichment program, there is only 18seats available! And it will be on balloting as there is overwhelming response!? The total cost (if including the enrichment program) will be $1000/term, so it is not exactly cheap!
Anyway my parents had put my name for the balloting. Result will be out on 24/4 (if my mum did not remember the date wrongly). Ah Jia will be there for the balloting. Exciting? Haa.
